This book suprised me by how scary I found it. The base story is spooky as heck but when it started hitting hard it had me saying "oh hell no." There were truly some big shock moments but nothing prepared me for certain moments which I'll post in spoilers blocked out below. So many times I had to put this down bc I was scared but absolutely loved it.

When Mikey crawled across the ceiling I definitely jerked my feet up and said "oh hell no", the gas station dog and ex wife car hood scenario and what happened with the gas station attendent and old man, the end after he moves when he'scoming oit of the bathroom to talk to Mikey and the mom and young daughter and what the little girl says when saying goodbye. But for real the majority of this book I was like wtaf as I read it and loved how scared I was.
