A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle

2.0

Maybe I just don't get what all the hoopla is about? I read this because it was on a top 10 list of important science fiction or influential Sci Fi. Maybe it feels so simple because a lot of the "science" seems really abstract?

I don't know. I've read a lot of really good engaging YA and Youth fiction. This one to me seems really bland. I also went in knowing about a lot of the Christian overtones, and while it didn't put me off, it just seemed a little too on the nose?

Maybe if I'd read it as a kid or in school where we had to interpret it more for the deeper meaning I would have gotten more from it.
