I loved the first two books, but thought that this one was even a step above those! I had a hard time picking my favorite chapter (between The Red Wedding, The Purple Wedding, and the duel of Tyrion's Trial I think), favorite characters (Brienne of Tarth, Tyrion, or Jamie), and favorite quote ("chaos isn't a pit, chaos is a ladder.").

"A Storm of Swords" is the third book in "A Song of Ice and Fire" series. It continues the epic saga of political intrigue, power struggles, and warfare in the fiction continent of Westeros. The book sees the fallout from the War of the Five Kings intensify with shocking betrayals, unexpected alliances, and devastating consequences for the characters involved leading to a climactic and unforgettable conclusion.
