I think it's safe to say that we've all heard the story of the now Queen Snow White, don't you? But, with all those fairy tales and "Happily Ever Afters," do we ever stop to think what happens after the "After?" In David Meredith's lovely story, we get that chance in regards to Snow White and her Charming.

He's dead. Has been for a little over a year now, and their daughter Raven is getting married to her own fair Prince. The thing is, though, Snow just can't seem to be anything but in a deep depression. So, in an attempt to get away from everyone she winds up in an old abandoned tower and finds the mirror that almost caused her demise Once Upon A Time. However, this time the mirror helps Snow White as it allows her to reflect and, although she will never not love Charming, it marks the beginning of her moving on and living in the present.

I really enjoyed this book, it was well written and I truly felt that it was a great story. Like I said before, no one thinks about what happens After, but Mr. Meredith certainly paints a picture that I can see happening within the world of Snow White. I must say, when contacted by David for a review, this was not what I expected. It was better. I highly recommend for anyone who loved the original tale, or just loves a great book in general. I look forward to seeing what the author writes next!
