I went into this with a feeling of “Damon Salvatore” from Vampire Diaries vibes. I am pretty disappointed tbh - the MMC is pretty weird the keeping an eye on child version of FMC
The FMC is annoying and to me, unlikable - shes pretty naive and immature. The sister is horrid, the FMC wolf shifter friend is okay but again pretty meh.
I dont get why the FMC wants to go after her sister after everything and even after she makes it to the next place, shes still like “but poor sister”. I get its an abusive situation but IDK i dont think it helps the FMC is unlikable to me.
Snow is the only one I like. Rune is weird and flips back and forth with his emotions. I dont understand why Sadie is away from the main group.
IDK theres so many pieces of the story that I didnt like or it didnt seem important enough to me and it made the world and characters feel lackluster. I was hoping it would get better but it did not. The pacing was also pretty slow and it seemed that there was a lot of “filler” in the story that just didnt need to be there.
