Finally making my way through this arc and I enjoyed it a lot. The first book starts off strong. I loved all the protagonists but I especially loved Alderheart since I could really relate to his anxiety. It's another questing/travelling book but it isn't too bad. We get two pretty emotional deaths in this book - I loved that Sandstorm died on a journey instead of dying between books or of some illness or the other. Mistfeather's death was also gut wrenchingly sad. The ending though - this book truly made me hate Rowanstar and Bramblestar for separating the two kits - like they just lost their mother, they only had each other but they still separate them then the clan mistreats them by isolating them since they are outsiders- they were all so crappy including some of the characters I didn't expect that kind of behavior from.
