REVIEW FOR FUTURE ME WHEN I FORGET THAT I EVEN READ THIS BOOK:

This was nuts! An excellent campion novel for anyone who enjoyed Female Rage: The Musical. Scarlett was fully on her vigilante shit and you know what, you supported it for the most part. Kind of lost the plot in the end with the last murder and also what the heck was with everyone kissing everyone at inopportune moments?! But it was an interesting flip on the ‘he was asking for it’ narrative with a side of ‘look what you made me do’. In hindsight, the twist felt obvious but in real time you were clutching your pearls. If only all serial killers could be so noble.

The quote: “Even in his final moments, I doubt he learned his lesson. But I didn’t kill him to teach him a lesson; I killed him to carve him out of this world like a tumor. And I’d do it again.”
