The Golden Spoon

If ‘The Great British Bake-Off’ were set in Vermont and had the undertone of murder mystery, it would be this book. 

Light on the “murder” and light on the “mystery” with a heaping helping of “average characters”. 

It held my attention, just barely, because I kept waiting for something to happen. 

There were a couple really good characters, probably penned as comic relief but really stole the show. 

I’d call this one average.
