American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Martin J. Sherwin, Kai Bird

4.0

I’m glad I watched the movie first because it helped put faces (kinda) to the insane amount of people in this book.

Obviously this thing is a well researched beast. It does the thing all biographies do which is basically set it’s subject up as a hero which I expected. But I did learn a lot more about the country at the time and the beginnings of the government deciding they could spy on all of us at all times.

It was insightful and def the book to read if you wanna learn more about this person.
