I would probably give this book a 5 if I had my own copy to annotate. I hope to reread this book again in the future and dissect and analyze far more than I have with my first read here. Overall, a good book! The characters are messy, and I feel that the tragedy of it all was set up well. Baldwin’s writing style is interesting and I hope to read his other books in the future!!
