Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

adventurous challenging medium-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Strong character development? It's complicated
  • Loveable characters? Yes

A reread. As usual, Bardugo's proses are to be venerated. For any other fantasy writers to trounce her level of pengame might be venturesome. Kaz Brekker is who he thinks he is. Such a wily, well thought-out protagonist. Howbeit, The Wraith beguiles me from the get-go. I long to have her without my armor -- that, or I will rather not have her at all.
