The government is fragile, and if it isn’t tended it will fail. We all can effect its maintenance. Love that.

According to the book: When the powers who are supposed to control corruption of the mega rich have no record of doing so, vigilante justice against already rich people who have murdered civilians for more profit is so terrible that the person exacting justice should be hanged. Yes, the person made a mistake and people died as a result, but had corruption been prevented or responded to in any timely manner a citizen would have never been put in the unfortunate position of needing to figure out how to stop the deadly corruption. A message that you should wait and believe that existing powers which don’t ever regulate the mega rich will suddenly do so, and certainly never take the situation into the citizens hands is not for me.

Also, the love interest is randomly a rich person (MC is very poor). His status as such is brought up one time and never seen as something worth examining. It would seem to be a difference that would lead to some fruitful conversation but there is very little dialogue between them.
