Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss

3.0

I think one can draw all sorts of conclusions and lessons from a book when it’s as open-ended as this is. It gives the impression that never take No for an answer. In some cases, that’s a perfectly valid opinion when one is talking in terms of oneself and one’s struggles. But in several other instances it’s a horrible value to hold particularly if there are two or more parties involved in an event where the No is uttered.

On the other end, one can surmise that one needs to be open to new ideas and trying out new things. One can and easily remain in a bubble and never come out of it. Staying in that bubble is as easy as it has ever been.

The illustrations are good and I’m always a fan of the abab rhyme scheme (although in some places it was aaa if I remember correctly)
