I was so excited when I received this book as a gift and by the end, my disappointment refused to leave. To be brief, Sally was extremely unlikeable as a character despite her having character development by the end. I felt that she was very selfish for over half of the book and some of her actions were questionable when the book kept pushing for "urgency" and she continued to do NOTHING.

I will not spoil, but I thought this was a letdown and I did not like that the book retconned Sally's origin to fit the new narrative of the book.
