The Book of M by Peng Shepherd

Did not finish book. Stopped at 7%.
Basically, I wasn’t in the mood for dystopian sci-fi vibes. I’m rarely in the mood for dystopia in general so this shouldn’t come as a surprise but I wanted to try it anyways since we are open to change in the universe and are willing to change our minds when proven wrong. So come on dystopian novels, prove me wrong.

The writing was actually quite pretty, I will say that. But something about it wasn’t gripping me hard enough to see it through past the first chapter and then I succumbed to my mood reading nature and skipped to the end and was not very enthused with what I found (something along the lines of body swapping and corpses being sleeves for the mind and soul and other things of that nature and basically I was unfulfilled with that knowledge).

So yeah, maybe dystopians are just not for me?

Time will tell, but not with this novel.
