The Review:
Okay, the first two books were really good. But with the reread with this last one I had come face-to-face with the realization that if I had not loved this characters so much, I would’ve hated everything that happened within this book.

I finally get it when they said that Infernal Devices was their least favorite because the plot was too simple. When I reached the climax part, I felt a little disappointed that I actually thought I loved this from years before. HAHA. All that build up and just for that one scene. HAHA.

But the characters in this series are its strongest aspects. And oh, Jem. Jem Carstairs!! The side characters have were soooo good!! Just honestly everyone had great character development!! They felt so real to me.

I was convince I would only give this book four stars but then I got to the ending and I was crying buckets of tears. It was so painful and beautiful at the same time.

Then, another realization (that I must’ve forgotten about):

When Jem dies, he would finally be together with Will. They would see each other again.
Quote:
“What I do know is that if we are born again, I will meet you in another life, and if there is a river, you will wait on the shores for me to come to you, so that we can cross together.”
Honestly, it was Jem and Will that makes me cry. And to think that Will is waiting there on the river for Jem now.

I don’t know how many times my heart broke in this series. But I absolutely love it. I will definitely reread this in the years to come.

My all time favorite. Always. And forever.
