Without Merit
by Colleen Hoover
I have yet to read a book by this author that hasn't touched or resonated with me on some level, I'm yet to be disappointed by CoHo With quirky characters, and subject matters that break the mould, she has the power to captivate her audience and draw you in like a bee to honey. Ultimately wether we admit it or not, we all want to find a place to fit in, maybe not in the conventional sense but in a physical sense, just the need to belong. Some prefer their own company to the company of others, exclusion or inclusion, but we also want to have a connection to someone or something that makes us feel less alone. This is a journey of Merit, not really knowing where she fits in with her family or in the grand scheme of things in general. I found myself rooting for her, seeing in her my more vulnerable younger self. I can honestly say only a handful of authors have the ability to literally touch the essence of my soul with only one line, and she is without a doubt one of them. Bravo Colleen Hoover, Bravo
