STILL REELING OVER THIS, I LOVED IT SO MUCH. this took what i loved in the first and made it even better - it was just as charming, fun and hilarious. emily and wendell have one of the best banters and their relationship is so incredibly endearing and wholesome 🥹💓 i liked the new characters, and i liked seeing old ones return as well
POE 💗

as always, emily's diary entries are interesting and fascinating to read, but im always on the lookout for
the one wendell pov chapter, it's always so cute to see how he admires emily so much 🐉

this was SO CLOSE to a 5 star, but there were a few moments where i was a teeny bit bored. overall, it was a fantastic sequel, and i cannot wait for the third book.
especially since it'll take place partly (or mostly?) in faerie land with WENDELL AND EMILY GAHH 🙇🧎
