The dialogue doesn’t feel like the way friends speak to each other… friends know each other already…. They don’t need to go in depth to explain certain things.
a sneakerhead with 70 pairs of shoes favors her Sketchers?? This seems… not reflective of true sneakerheads

Truly there were many reasons I did not finish. I found myself angry after each session asking why certain details weren’t different… I really wanted to love this book but it felt like it was supposed to be about a couple of teenagers and not adult women.
