Magic in Her Hands
by Jessica Elias
3.5/5 (Truest Raiting)
Okay, She didn't have any answers and needed to do her work anyway. Isela straightened her back, going into work. And if her hands were shaking a little, no one needed to know that. It would stay between her and whatever that horse... woman was.
Magic in Her Hands is honestly a nice story. I finished it one day, it was fast paced, humorous, interesting, cute and suspensful.
The story is centered around Isela your typical hardworking woman doing her job, get home and hope to get to the end of the week so she can rest. However by a freak accident someone tries to kill her and not just normally kill her - no, no, no, sir! A creature almost kills her but luckily for her another creature, a sea horse saves her. Isela might be safe for now, but she gotten herself into a situation she certainly shouldn't had gotten involved in.
Jessica Elias writing is good, could use more polishing but it makes the reading a satsifying joy. Despite that, the story is short, 100 pages in total and could had used more length in my opinion to expend on the story, the god amazing lore Jessica crafted and go even deeper with her characters. Like my favorite character is Priscilla and I want to know her past and Masaru and everything that came before this story.
