Run Away by Harlan Coben
4.0
My first Harlan Coben! It's a ripper of a story, with increasingly dark and twisty turns. The imaginations authors have to always come up with a new way of telling a story and keep us surprised and glued right till the very last page. Simon is a successful financial consultant living in New York, married to medical professional Ingrid. They have three late teens/early 20s children. Paige has become the problem child, randomly going off the rails while at college, becoming a drug addict and disappearing, much to her father's intense distress. He sees her one day, living the homeless life, in Central Park, with her drug addict drop kick boyfriend. A confrontation ensues which unleashes a series of catastrophic events. At the same time a young couple are cruising through the US on some sort of assignment randomly assassinating what appear to be harmless law abiding men, all unconnected with each other. It's so good! Now I am hooked on this writer. So many titles to choose from!
