Incredible, gorgeous world building, very engaging plot, a very interesting and beautiful approach to different kinds of dragon lore. For so many and such different characters, their individual storylines are beautifully woven together. Especially with the fantastic maps you get a great sense of the different countries and territories and their relationship to one another.

Unfortunately the story was much more full-on violent than I expected, including killing off characters. Would've given this 5 stars if there'd been far fewer on-page beheadings.
