A very strange read, for sure. It paced a bit slow for me, but the concept of mother-turned-dog was interesting. The style of writing made it at times a bit hard to follow and drab, as it felt a little stream of consciousness-y despite being written in third. Gruesome at points, but it mostly didn’t linger on that.
