Spellbook of the Lost and Found by Moïra Fowley-Doyle

Did not finish book.
I got this book sent for free by Penguin Random House for an honest review

I tried reading this today. Made it about 100 pages in and I still wasn't enthralled by it. I decided to read the last chapter to find out if the ending was something I was dying to know more about: I wasn't. I didn't care for the ending and I felt a disconnect throughout the first 100 pages as well.

The thing that ruined it for me was the first person perspective. Usually FPP is fine, but not when the perspective changes every chapter. One book, one protagonist and one perspective: great combination. One book, three protagonists and three perspectives: why?

If you don't mind this then by all means read it. It has mystery, magic, "witches" and LGTBQ relationships. I think it has the potential to be liked and loved by others, we just didn't click.
