I definitely did enjoy reading this as I have severely missed obsessively reading hisroms as I’ve been so busy with school, but the writing wasn’t great just good imo. It felt very predictable, enough so that I was predicting what was gonna be in the next line of text after finishing a sentence. The anatomical flowery language used during the sex scenes made me cringe so bad, like describing her “little hidden pearl” 😭. Also the family relationships in this series is still so odd like yes it’s not technically incest but marrying your half cousin, the full brother of your half brother’s wife?? So odd. I did really love Joshua tho, I love a tough, brash male hero that melts for his girl. I wished I liked Gwyn more, but she felt very immature despite being 30 😭.
