I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review. Truthfully, this book has so much potential, but it just wasn’t for me. I liked the characters themselves, and their backstories. The love stories felt a bit forced and hurried. I wished there was more tension and building before jumping right into it. A lot of information was just kind of thrown at you, and at many times, repeated. The POVs changed a lot throughout a chapter, which made it hard to follow along and stay focused.
Overall, not bad for a debut novel. Great for beginning romantasy readers.
