Alrighty, I liked the book right up till the last few chapters. She laid out a great story really wanting us to know what the hell happened 12 summer's/thanksgivings ago. Then she went ahead and ruined it. Poppy 100% only cared about herself and was insecure. She played Mason the poor guy when all she wanted was Sam. Charlie was correct in saying Sam is an idiot. He was worried about fucking things up and as soon as they got together officially that is all he did, fuck things up. Percy should have never slept with Charlie, but Sam also shouldn't have pushed Percy away. Also if he had time to drink and party with other people why didn't he invite her up for a weekend at the program?? If he was that busy and overwhelmed he wouldn't have been partying with JoJo!! Like the fuck. Then at 30 they aren't much more mature at all and they sleep together even though Percy still feels so much guilt and has panic attacks and Sam knows!!!! That is manipulation. I hated the end, liked it right up till the 12 summer's ago chapter. Should have stopped then and the way Percy treated Delilah and didn't talk to her for 12 years because she didn't want to apologize and only did when she got Sam back was childish. Hated this book so much. Still going to watch the show though lol
