Did not finish book. Stopped at 0%.
Ooooooo this book annoyed me. I'M SORRY. It felt so juvenile.
So many times the main character Tansy would be so timid/flustered/awkward she would struggle to get the words out.
1. When her fake girlfriend shows up at the wedding she's at
2. When said fake girlfriend concocts a scheme and the two of them are on the dance floor and fake girlfriend asks for an explanation of how and why Tansy lied
3. When she shows up at fake girlfriends place and her roommate mistakes Tansy for a pizza delivery person - the dialogue was TRULY HORRIBLY AWKWARD. I get it was supposed to be "funny" but my eyes rolled back in my head
I will not be forcing myself to finish books in 2024 !!
