Dexter's Final Cut by Jeff Lindsay
5.0

At the moment of writing this, I just put the novel down, having shut the book for the last time of the day. And then I thought. I'm hungry. It's very rare when a book can make me push aside my Notorious Needs, but, Damn, Dexter Does. As the name suggests, the ending heavily implies this to be the final of the series, and what an energetic ending it was.

This time, our Dashing Dexter is tasked with the the job of being a body guard to Majestic Movie star Jackie Forrest outside of work, who is in town as the lead actress in the pilot of a new television series. During the day, Dexter has another job - teaching actor Robert (not Bob!) about the art of forensics.
All is not well in Dexterland, because Jackie has a stalker. A stalker of the kind only Dark Dexter can help with. Or does he...

Are my alliterations arduous? I tried. Maybe I should save those for Jeff Lindsay.
