For some reason, I’d thought this was a sci-fi, but it’s a paranormal harem romance. The MMC is a dragon-type and treats that part of himself similar to an entity possessing him, referring to it as beast living inside of him, describing how it feels given whatever circumstances, when met with a woman or challenged by a man. The story reads like the author considers himself a Nice Guy™️, and is filled with pure male wish fulfillment, both with the character being able to be powerful, discovering and mastering super powers in less than a week, getting into high speed car chases, taking down drug rings, being highly sought after and valuable both in that everyone wants him as an ally and that every woman he meets wants him, despite only having a single love interest in this book, but it makes it clear he will be collecting a harem, like that’s a totally normal thought process in less than a week when he had been a geeky guy with no fashion sense or muscle mass who couldn’t get a date just days earlier.

I finished the book, but I legit pulled some muscles with how hard I kept rolling my eyes.
