Lance was your average college senior or at least that is what he is trying to present to everyone around him. He should be focused on what he plans on doing for the future but his focus is on making sure those at his college are safe. Just when he thinks he has this whole college vigilante business all figured out he is faced with a challenge that he did not see coming. Now questioning if this is something he can do on his own or if he will need the help of his friend Taylor and Jason, Lance will work to make sure that his college will remain safe. 

 

I was lucky enough to be asked to read an ARC of this book and I was super excited to read it! I have read a couple of other books about superheroes and really enjoyed them and was hopeful for The White Knight, and I'm glad to report that I really enjoyed it! 

 

Lance as the MC was heartwarming. I really enjoyed his reasons for deciding to become a vigilante at his college. I did wish that I had a little more info on the major event that was really the catalyst, it is touched on but I personally wanted just a little more. The relationships that Lance has with the other 2 male characters, Taylor and Jason, was great. I really loved how everything was not always perfect but they were willing to accept Lance for who he was and the decisions that he made. 

 

Overall I really liked this book, however there were a couple of instances where I wanted a bit more background info. I did like the descriptions on the different events that Lance intervenes in throughout. Additionally, I loved that the characters were seniors in college. I feel like that leaves a lot open for potential future books. 

 

With a medium to fast pace and short chapters this was the perfect vacation read. I am so glad I got the chance to read this early. I am hopeful that there will be more books in the future. You should definitely check this book out if you like superheroes!
