This is a hard one for me because I fluctuated so frequently on how much; or indeed whether I was actually enjoying it. Frustratingly, I can't even articulate or pinpoint exactly what it was that caused the issues for me. Consequently it took me such a long time to get through. 
However by the conclusion I feel like something clicked and has me intrigued enough to continue to the next book.
