Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson

5.0

I suspect this is something of a boy's book; computers, war action, espionage, and a wish-fulfillment love interest, but is a fabulous read. I was engrossed from start to finish and couldn't wait to dive into the prequel trilogy. Stephenson writes with flair and a keen, playful, wit. The characters are well shaped, and it rattled along belying its potentially daunting page count.
