Threads That Bind
by Kika Hatzopoulou
Threads That Bind was a great read overall. The book had a great adventure and the plot propelled at a steady pace keeping me as a reader engaged.
It missed the mark in the relationship aspect.
A huge portion of this book relies on telling the reader how profound the relationships or bonds are between the sisters and family, yet this was never felt just told.
The romance was not convincing either. While within close proximity, a lot of opportunities to convince the reader of a building relationship were missed. I just didn’t care about them by the end of the book.
