Deadpool Kills Deadpool by Cullen Bunn

3.0

So I messed up here a little. I didn't realize that this was the third book of Bunn's "Killogy" and the fact that it's a series isn't readily clear on the volumes themselves, so I ended up skipping over #2 entirely.

That being said, the story is straightforward enough that I got basically what happened in between.

In the end, I liked this volume better than [b:Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe|15789310|Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe (Deadpool Killogy, #1)|Cullen Bunn|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1356842215s/15789310.jpg|21510128], mainly because it puts "normal" Deadpool back as the main character and returns to a little lighter tone for the overall story. It's still a bit simplistic for my tastes, and seems to break character and established expectations in service of story. But the story is interesting and relatively enjoyable, so it's a fair volume all around.
