5 stars for Cocky F*ck by Sheridan Anne. This is book two in the Rejects Paradise series. “Hurt me, Colton. Hurt me as much as you f***ing need because in the end, I’m not going anywhere. You can’t push me away. Not anymore. I get it, I’m your outlet now. I’m the only person who can make you feel something. So, it’s okay. When you need to scream, you scream at me. When you hurt, you hurt me. I can take it. Right till the f**king end, right until you finally realize how f***ing amazing you are.” Ocean is amazing. She is strong but still shows her heart especially when it comes to Colton. She is suffering and so is he, yet these two must both stay strong. Rape, Death, and danger are all things they are coping with. At first I wasn’t sure wheat was going to happen with Colton and Ocean. Just when they were on the right track, Colton pushes her away. In this book there was a lot going on, I did not know what was going to happen next. While, we get some answers, we also get more questions. I love Sheridan’s writing and I love her characters. They had me feeling all different kinds of emotions. I can not wait to see what is coming for all of these characters.
