I find it really interesting that hilarious is the first adjective used to describe this book - it’s not really ha ha funny. It is irreverent and relatable and profound and immensely enjoyable for some of the most dark themes which I saw myself reflected in. It was also an incredibly apt description of “high functioning” anxiety/depression cycles. The ending was slightly too optimistic imo but I’m not mad about it.
Graphic: Death, Mental illness, Panic attacks/disorders
Moderate: Homophobia, Suicidal thoughts, Vomit
Re: death content warning - this was mostly the theme of death. All deaths were off page, no description of the actual process of death. However, death and dying were major topics throughout.
