I don’t even know where to begin with Verity, because that book? It messed with my head so bad in the best way.
It starts off slow, then suddenly you’re spiraling down this dark, twisted rabbit hole of obsession, lies, and secrets. And that manuscript... that damn manuscript. I kept flipping the pages like I needed to know the truth!
Verity is such a disturbing character — but in a way that keeps pulling me in. I don’t know if I hate her, feel bad for her, or are just completely terrified of her.
And Lowen… I wanted to trust her, but at some point, I wasn’t sure who I should be afraid of anymore.

The tension? Insane. The plot twist? UNHINGED. And the ending? It left me staring at the wall, questioning everything.
