Lila and Dean meet on a plane, when Lila is running away from the life she has known. However, she needs time to stand on her own, and Dean is determined to help her enjoy her time. He is instantly attracted to her, but they are going their separate ways- or at least they think they are. Lila ends up returning to her family’s home, and her mom offers her a new nanny job during the interim. After the passing of his sister, Dean ends up as the guardian for his niece and nephew and in Lila’s town. He is pleasantly surprised to see his “future wife” as his nanny. As Lila starts to heal, her relationship with Dean progresses, but there are people who want to threaten the family they have created. This is the start of a new series.
