Buffy the Vampire Slayer #14 by Jordie Bellaire

5.0

Anyone who has met me knows I'm a major Buffy nerd. My family still gets together to break out the DVD's and watch it on the weekends (yeah, we're those kind of nerds).
That said, I was a little nervous to hear they were revamping the series. My brother gave these first four issues the seal of approval and I jumped right in.
The witty banter from the show is there and we get to see a new twist on familiar characters. Willow is already gay, Cordelia is nice and Dru isn't crazy (which is more disconcerting). There are twists that keep the story new and compelling and leave me anxious for the next issue.
Also, I have to say that I love the artwork in these first four volumes. The characters look similar to the actors from the show but have a new spin to them.
