Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

Very few books have made me feel this level of connection and love for the characters. This is exactly what I am looking for in a romance book.

Drew’s character was so complex, not entirely relatable because her upbringing and current lifestyle is so unique but I felt really connected to her. Like I wanted to be her best friend and give her all of the love she deserved.

Josh, while also complex, felt like he was put on Earth to be the calm to Drews chaos. He was steady. And despite his initial reservations of Drew, he’s quick to include her as someone he is fiercely protective of.

I wanted to be Beth using all my might to push the two of them together. Their love story unfolds slowly and perfectly and heart was beating so heavily for the entire second half of their story.

Long story short, these are the characters that (at least for me) make me believe in the power of love.
