ashliesydel 's review for:
Il guerriero di pietra
by Gena Showalter
This book was surprisingly funny and enjoyable but nothing compared to Gena's more recent work. I think it's difficult to make a pig headed man likeable and Gena achieved this with Jorlen. I would have liked it if she continued this series by giving his brother his own story rather then throwing him into a relationship in the last 50 pages of the book. And even though I've read Grey's book (Jewel of Atlantis) I'd like to know more about the rest of the James boys. Final complaint/observation. Why do women always have to be married and/or pregnant at the end of a romance novel? Why can't the couple go to Disney World?? Getting off track here but that's why I like Cat and Bones (Jeaniene Frost) they are passionate and fun and they don't need to package their relationship into the traditional sense.
