I was forced to read this book at such an odd and fitting time in my academic career. If you’re anything like me and you’re starting to feel the fatigue and pointlessness with everything you’re doing, with academia as a whole, this book will appeal to you in some degree. It perfectly emulates that “life is often meaningless and our institutions are all kinda bs” type of (for lack of better words) vibe. Weirdly enough I don’t think it’s a sad book, it’s kinda just self-deprecating and satirical.
