To give this book 3.5 ⭐️s is probably doing it a disservice, but I watched Bridgerton first. The show follows the general plot of The Duke and I well enough, of course there are some things in the show that never happened in the book (and vice versa). Had I read the book first, I probably would have rated it higher. 

I still enjoyed reading this though, and I think I will continue with the series. I expect that I’ll like reading the next few more because they have yet to be adapted in the show. 

I loved reading the second epilogue. It was sweet seeing how far Daphne and Simon’s relationship had come.
