The Paris Wife by Paula McLain

3.0

While this book is mildly interesting, I have a dislike for fictionalized "autobiographies". My other issue with the book is that the author tries too hard to copy Hemingway's style of writing. I don't know if it's intentional, as if "Hadley" picked up her husband's voice, or if the author had absorbed herself too deeply into Hemingways's works, but it's very distracting to me. He is one of my favorite authors, so that was the first thing I noticed. It's a book worth finishing, but I don't know that I would recommend it.
