This was an easy read, very light and comforting because of how involved the Davies were with one another it was heartwarming.

They went from roommates to friends to lovers at a pace that made sense for the scenario. I loved how as the book progressed Cassidy and Marina leaned on each other and helped talk through the ways they feel less than and worked to change their mindset in a way that seemed realistic, the affirming of each other’s self that one might not notice about themselves was too sweet.

Things I loved: Cassidy is a golden retriever in a huge hunk of a man, when her dad packs a bag to join her 😭, the gossip sessions, he had literal notes on the people he loves and the things they love

I can’t wait for the next book in the series and to hopefully see a bit more of the never habor mc’s from the last books.
