I went into this expecting a bit of smutty fluff, but it was actually really good.
Livia is a librarian who has sworn off men, but when she meets Chase, the hottest cop ever to exist, she decides to see if he would be interested in giving her a baby the old-fashioned way. She's not interested in a relationship, but she really wants a baby.
Although a tad on the ridiculous side, Chase agrees to essentially be a sperm donor, and the two start banging like bunnies. Eventually, however, feelings start to form in this no-strings-attached relationship.
Chase was definitely the highlight for me. His journey from Officer Good Time to someone ready for a real relationship was just adorable. And he's totally a hot cop...
Livia truthfully did get on my nerves a bit with how much she pushed him away, but Chase is so great and there is so much good banter in here that this was still a fun read.
