Cotillion by Georgette Heyer
2.0

I was pretty disappointed in this book just because I found its name on a top 100 list of Romance Novels and it was pretty high up on the list. I've read a few other books by Georgette Heyer that I enjoyed so much more than Cotillion. I recommend Frederica, or Friday's Child which are a bit more amusing and endearing.

In order to inherit her great uncle's fortune, Kitty must marry one of the men in the family. Always in love with her cousin, Jack Westruther, she hatches a plan to propose to another of their cousins so that she can get to London and out into society. There she is going to make Jack so jealous, he will want to sweep her off her feet. Little does she know, that once she expeirences more of life, her childhood dreams might not be want she wants or needs.
