This book marks the start of me actively learning about Aotearoa, our history, the issues of colonization we face today and what we can do going forward. 

This was an excellent first book. I loved how it showed ways Māori are not just decolonising  but reindeginising and have been for a while. 

I hope This book gets taught in school!!
