The Honeys
by Ryan La Sala
As a beekeeper and a woman, I can confirm this is what we do on our free time.
Jokes aside, this was an enjoyable book that I'm probably not gonna think about too much in the future. It has everything – likeable characters, humor, drama, romance, themes and symbolism, societal criticism, mild horror etc. – but in a comfy, somewhat shallow package. Although there is a pretty abrupt tone shift, I'd still say it's a high quality work overall, and I'm looking forward to checking out the author's other work.
